Hey everyone, I was rear-ended about a week ago at a red light. The other driver was clearly at fault and got a ticket. My neck and shoulder have been super stiff since it happened, and I went to urgent care where they diagnosed me with mild whiplash. Today, the other guy's insurance adjuster called me and offered $2,500 plus paying my urgent care bill if I sign a release right now. Honestly, $2,500 sounds nice to help with bills, but my shoulder still hurts and I'm worried it might get worse. Is it worth hiring a personal injury lawyer for this, or will they just take all the money anyway? Anyone been through this?
