Got rear-ended last week. The other driver's insurance company called me today and basically said they are accepting 100% liability. They offered to pay for my car repairs and some initial medical bills from my ER visit, but they're pushing me to sign a settlement release quickly. My neck is still pretty stiff, and a couple of friends are telling me to lawyer up immediately, but I really don't want to deal with a lawsuit if I don't have to. Is it worth getting an attorney involved at this point, or will they just take a huge cut of what I’m already getting?
