I was rear-ended pretty hard last week and the other guy's insurance has already called me with a settlement amount. It covers the car repairs and about $1,500 for my 'pain and suffering.' My back is still killing me though, and I'm worried if I take the money now, I won't be able to pay for more physical therapy if this doesn't clear up. Everyone says I need a lawyer but I've never dealt with this before and don't want to get scammed. Does this sound like a lowball offer or is it better to just take it and move on?
