So, I got hit by a distracted driver a couple weeks ago. My car is a total loss and I've been having some pretty bad neck pain. The other guy's insurance called today and offered me a settlement that barely covers the car, let alone my medical bills or the time I've missed from work. I'm feeling super overwhelmed. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I try to negotiate myself or is it time to look for a car accident attorney? I don't want to get screwed over.
