So I got rear-ended on my way to work Tuesday. Not a massive wreck, but my bumper is trashed and my neck has been pretty stiff since then. The other driver's insurance reached out today and offered me $1,500 plus the car repairs if I sign a release now. It sounds okay, but everyone keeps telling me 'don't sign anything yet.' Is it actually worth bringing in an attorney for something this small? I’m worried they’ll just take a huge cut and I’ll end up with less than what I’m being offered right now. Has anyone dealt with this before?
