Hey everyone, hoping to get some advice here. I got rear-ended on my way home from work last Tuesday. The other driver's insurance called me yesterday offering a quick $2,000 settlement to 'wrap things up quickly.' At first, it sounded great because my car barely has a scratch, but my neck and shoulders have been really stiff and sore since Friday. I haven't been to the doctor yet because I figured it would just go away, but now I'm worried. If I accept this money, am I screwed if it turns out I need physical therapy? Should I talk to a lawyer first, or is $2k actually a decent offer for a minor fender bender?
